Education & Advocacy

VDJI’s Advocacy Initiatives seek to:

• Collaborate with advocacy groups, community organizations, and policymakers to promote awareness of Anti-Black Racism and systemic issues in the justice system.

• Produce and disseminate educational materials and position papers highlighting the importance of culturally informed legal practices.

• Advocate for policy changes that support the integration of IRCAs into standard legal procedures, ensuring they are given due consideration in judicial decisions.
